Leah Messer reveals the best is yet to come for her after Teen Mom 2

The CW impressed viewers with the release of a new superhero series, Black Lightning. And now that the first season is over, when can we expect to see it on Netflix?

Black Lightning wrapped up its first season on April 17. Before it’s season finale, CW announced they ordered a second season. Prepare to see more of Jefferson Pierce (Cress Williams) and his powerful daughters, Anissa (Nafessa Williams) and Jennifer (China Anne McClain). Fans still have a while until the Season 2 drops, though, so what to do in the meantime? Re-watch all the Season 1 episodes, of course!

When will Black Lightning arrive to the streaming service?

While The CW and Netflix have not yet announced a release date, we can predict one with the following information…

You may or may not remember a deal between Netflix and The CW. Thanks to this deal, Netflix is now debuting CW programs not long after their finale airs on the network. Before, waiting time would be closer to the premiere date of the next season, which was often up to a year. Now, it’s a week (or a couple of weeks)! Huge difference, huh?

Knowing this, Black Lightning will more than likely be available on Netflix late April 2018 or early May 2018. If you’re a fan of other CW shows, such as The Flash and Arrow, the same network to streaming time is expected!

Do you plan on catching Black Lightning as soon as it drops on Netflix, or do you prefer to wait until closer to the premiere date of Season 2 on The CW? What are you hoping to see more of (or less) in the upcoming second season?
